My son bought this jeep last week not running and now he trying to get it running. The fuel pump will not come on. We have swapped the pump from his other jeep(same model/year) that is running with no luck. The pump is not coming on. We have gone thru all of the relays and fuses under the hood. My fords have a cutoff switch but jeeps apparently only have the relays. Is this true. All of the wiring looks good. Can I get a few Ideals on what might be the problem with it. All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You are correct that Jeeps do not have an inertia switch. Is the pump getting power at KOEO? (Key on engine off) It needs to see about 12.3V and about >.5v after the pump. Also I would check all the fuses with a DMM or a test light. Sometimes you can't see the break in the fuse.

It does not appear to be getting power when the key is turned on. We swapped pumps in the other jeep and the pump works fine there.

I would try to find a wiring schematic and trace the power. I will say one thing it will be broken in the last place you look. I would start by checking for power and ground at the pump.
