05 Wk Limited without dvd..add it?
I have searched around and have not been able to find anything specific to what I am looking for and hope you guys can help me out. We have a 2005 Limited with the navigation but no dvd. I am wanting to add 2 headrest screens for the kids and was wondering if I purchase the oem dvd player that sits in the center console how I could go about using this for these screens. I like the oem location and dvd player just not the overhead screen. Would this require me buying a separate harness to go from the head unit to the dvd player or it is already installed in all of the jeeps. Also a pin out so I can source my video out off of the oem dvd player to split and run to the headrests.... Thanks so much in advance and I really look forward to hearing from everyone!

I purchased a two screen DVD setup that uses adjustable straps to hold them onto the headrests of the front seats, only paid about 100 bucks for it at Target. I store them in the house when I don't need them, keeps the tweakers from breaking and stealing my junk. They plug into a 12volt socket for power, have built speakers or use head phones, have a remote, and work great on keeping the kids quiet. I think they're made by Audiovox.

Go aftermarket
We had the same idea and after a local shop quoted us almost $700.00 for in headrest screens and all the goodies we decided to vist Best Buy where we found a nice system with 9" screens (I think) that just plug in and the kids couldn't care it cost $7.00 or $700.00 as long as they get to watch their movies, all is good. Ours is used almost every day of the week (and consequently my Jeep is getting all the miles now as the wife's 04 Liberty sits in the garage). The kids love it and my serious advice would be to save some money and get a portable on with the screens that strap onto the headrests. You won't be sorry.
