Hello all, new member here.

I have a question about my back seat belt. I have an '05 Grand Cherokee. The middle one is stuck and doesn't want to budge. I need to put a baby car seat in the back and cannot. I took it to the dealer and they wanted $90 just to look at it. What do I need to do to fix it?

If there is a DIY, please someone post it!

I am having this issue also, there appears to be no way to get inside of the seat to get to the locking device. Any advise would be appreciated

I also have a stuck seat belt. I used to take it to the dealer since my 2005 Grand Cherokee was under warranty. I took it probably 4 times in 3 years. I am so tired of the thing getting stuck. Now I have to put a baby seat and the darn thing is stuck. I don't have the money to take it to the dealer so i am also looking for a way to get into the seat and release the belt. Anyone have any ideas?????????????

I've just found out that I have 2 rear seatbelts not working......seem to be jammed...how do I get into them?

A Hayne's auto manual usually has that info in it.

Had the same issue and after taking apart the entire back seat and not getting any results I unbolted the seat belt where its connected to the body underneath the bench and it released the tension and it rolled right back up! I did that about 2 months ago and it still works just fine

try wat was said above or go to the dealer or junk yard and get the seat bealts you need o yea if you go the dealer for parts bring in your regestration they will need your vin # to get the corect part
