My GC has the 4.7 and does not have a 2wd option. when in 4 all time, i was going thru some soft sand and the back tires just dug. I put it in 4 low and Bam! popped right out of the holes that i dug. I did plenty of research and ruled that the tcase was bad. So today i swapped it for another 247. only to find that when in soft sand i still just dig the back tires. in the new tcase 4 low works as well. i noticed there were no electrical wires going to tcase so im going to rule out an electrical problem. i did however notice the vacuum line in the side of the tcase. can anyone clarify whether the vacuum line is a blow off or if it is needed for the hydraulic coupler to build sufficient pressure to engage.
