02 Sensor 2002 Grand Cherokee Bank 2 Sensor 1
Hello, the error codes are "P0051" and "P0152", "Bank 2 Sensor 1"
I think this is up stream referring to "Sensor 1" but what does "Bank 2" refer to, front or rear of the manifold (While looking at front of car)? This is a straight 6. Does anyone know the Mopar part number and the NTK part number? Thank you |
Bank 2 is the rear 3 cylinders. Sensor 1 is upstream. Go with the NTK. Some suggest replacing the downstream as well because it uses the upstream for reference in determining cat efficiency

To the OP welcome to the forum!
If you will look at the sections closer there is a Grand Cherokee section that may be more helpful to you. |
OK, so the sensor on the manifold closest to the firewall?

Bank 2 is closest to the firewall. Sensor 1 is closest to the head
|
IDK if this helps or not, but my 2000 4.0 with CA emissions doesn't seem to have downstream sensors, or at least none that I can find. There is one on each cat, but the pipe after that goes into a round can before the muffler with no electrical connections.
