'02 Overland Wheels and Beeping
I have a new to me '02 Overland. Only two 'issues'; it has chrome wheels that I have had to have reground and sealed 4 times so I would like to replace the wheels. The guy at Goodyear says it's a known issue with Jeep chrome. I am unsure what all fits. It has 17" but they appear to be hard to find. Should I go to 16" what happens if I do? Secondly about every 3rd start there is a beeping coming from the outside of the vehicle. Everything is stock I have no idea what it is. If I turn it off and restart if usually goes away. It doesn't seem to affect performance and after 5 min goes away.
My apologies if this are really bad questions. Otherwise happy to have found this site with people that know what they are talking about. Thanks

your wheels are 5x5 bolt pattern, you should be able to find some aftermarket ones if thats what you want, or do you want jeep wheels?...can you tell where about this "beeping" is coming from?

there are like 10 different styles of 17" factory wj wheels (some are the same with different finishes) so i guess i would suggest searching craigslist, ebay, salvage yards etc...or if you want new quadratec.com or your local dealer. Also JK (07-09 wrangler) wheels have the same bolt pattern. I believe you could downsize to 16"s but your computer is calibrated for 17"s so it may throw things off a little, you also obviously would need new tires....a beeping coming from the back is too vague for me,i don't know

Should a set of 2007 Jeep Wrangler Wheels with 255/75/17 tires fit on my '02 Overland without any rubbing? It seems like the wheels are good based on your reply but I am not sure that these tires would work. Again thanks for your assistance.
