Yeti build
i named this Cherokee the yeti. I posted on a ton of forums looking for a low mileage 2 door that wasn’t beat. Everyone said I will never find one so I should stop looking. They said I would have a better chance finding a Bigfoot. The next week I had one. So I named it yeti because it was suppose to be hard to buy one, bolt let alone see one in captivity. Is a 1994 2dr with a 2001 front clip. It had 35s and 4 inch lift. So the rear quarters where beat from tire rubbing. It was owned by Washington state forestry. It has 110,00 miles. The only thing I forgot to check was the radiator fluid before I bought it. When I got it home and looked it was dark brown. So I flushed it out. Then I attempted an oil change and the filter was so tight. It took me and two friends 4 hours to get it off. Here are some pics of the first day https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...0a3d26ba6.jpeg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...12aaa7ecd.jpeg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...2afaa916d.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...7e8f076fb.jpeg |
Great find! What are your plans for it?

Looks good! I also have a 2 door on a 4" lift and on 35s myself 1988.. 4" coils up front and Rusty's 3" leafs with JKS shackles in the back and seems to be slightly smaller. I don't rub at all with proper bumpstops. Good luck, looking forward to the build! Let me know if you have any questions about the setup, I also have a detailed build thread that might give you some ideas
