after about 2 weeks of ownership it developed a wonderful rod knock and dropped to near 0 oil pressure. you know what that means. REBUILD TIME http://allsentra.com/images/smilies/suicide.gif

then after nearly 2 months i was finally able to get my buddy's hoist to my house. this is how she sits now

cant decide whether to take this block to a machine shop and rebuild it or just buy a remand motor.....suggestions?

cheap way= new used motor

good expensive way=full rebuild

if it were me id just buy a used motor or a cheap cherokee just to make sure it runs

Rebuild slight bore and cam = fun fun you could always do a smaller stroker 4.3?

well i went ahead and bought a remand motor from ATK engines. very reputable company with a very nice product. hop to have it installed and running as soon as i can
