hey guys i dont post much but i was doing a build that i really havent seen so i figured id share it . I am preparing to build a xj with dana 60s, bfg 42'' AG tires, and 12'' lift ( Custom 4 link front and rear leafs ). im upgrading a mud machine. im currently running a 6.5 rustys lift with 35-10.50 boggers, trussed dana 30 and 44 with lock rights. And guys this is a swamp rig and competative mudder so theres a purpose, I have seen your thoughts on tractor tires. i will post some pics soon !

Just curious why you don't run front leaves as well?

my jeep is also just for mud but were im at people dont seem to have much luck with trackter tires unless ther driving so fast ther going over the mud, i like my wide tires that platform more so they dont dig its self a hole, but im sure ny mud is diffrent then florida, im originaly from around corning/elmira ny but i was little when i lived ther, and of course i went up there and my uncle sold his mud truck a week before i got there so i havnt done any off roading up ther. but good luck with the build

hey man I'm gonna be watching your build for sure but i would go with leaf springs for sure for a mudding rig and plus its way easier to lift it to clear tractor tires heres a pic of my XJ on 44 inch TSL

You may want to replace your keyboard. you seem to be missing the e key quite a bit. "Ther" "havnt" etc.

But yeah I'm not sure what NY is like but here in Canada wide tires tend to do better from what I've seen... but I have a limited knowledge of mudding. Every time I've seen a mudder go into a trail, the following year that trail gets closed so most people tend to stay away from that except for screwing around in their own fields or a friends field.
