Who's running 4.88's?
I've done my searching and lerking here and on other forums about regearing. I'm currently running some pretty true to size 33's but have an end goal of running 35's that are on the lighter smaller side. This is my daily driver and I would like to keep things reasonable for overlanding and longer trips but have the power for the camping gear that comes along with it. Please let me know what your running and what you feel the pros and cons are. Thanks in advance. P.S. My rigs an Automatic.

I'm running 35s and 4.88s. off road I love it...on road isn't that bad but if I were to do it again id go 4.56. but I guess I'm a special case because I know of plenty of people that love it. For me 4th gear is where I run into issues because it shifts too early and drops the RPMs too low too quick if accelerating at a normal pace, which causes a combination of my exhaust getting too loud in the cab (droning) and lack of acceleration. And when that happens I have to drop it into 3rd (auto trans) to gain my acceleration back. But if I'm merging on the highway its fine because I'm keeping the RPMs higher longer. I'm thinking its more than just the gears causing this but I cant figure out what it would be. so maybe someone else will chime in.
