So went to the outer banks, NC with my family this year and decide to take the jeep down. Didn't know if it would make it or not but tried it out. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the rest of my family as we took 4 vehicles.
We just crossed the Chesapeake Bridge. Pretty sweet to be surrounded by water for 20 miles. Long story short, I was cruising along and got a ticket for doing 60 in a 45. I was pulled over for doing 75-80 which I didn't know the jeep could do(speedometers all screwed up). Wasn't happy about a $200 fine but whatever.
Outer banks has a drive on beach which I was really excited about. Went driving all around it and spotted some of the areas natural horses.
Sweet picture of the cars
My jeep did great on the beach. But the diesels were not as good. Dad got stuck in the sand and my cousin tried pulling him out.
And me and my friend with the red jeep sitting in a wrongler.
Had to put some oil in it on the trip back just for my own sanity.

@squirrel It's a great time going out there. Wanna get into some more hilly stuff as jerseys too flat but it works.

So before the trip, I borrowed some duratracs from the kid with the red jeep. Ended up buying them from him and gave him my old ones.
Back spacing is 4.25 so they rub but they ride a lot better.
Changed diff fluid and painted the covers white. I like the look of them.
Started to weld up a spare tire carrier cause I love the look of them. Never really welded anything and didn't have the best tools at my disposal. Looked great but it leaned and rattle cause of my bumpers hitch opening is too large.
One of the welds. Don't even know if it's good but they held up for the little while I had it on.
Got a cherokee sticker for Christmas and really surprised at the outcome. Thought it'd look ricey but i love the look.
And my family got a new dog for Christmas.

Well took a trip to the pocono's with my family in the jeep. Hit 150000 and hoping for another 150k out of her.
Bought an led bar at a local shop and threw It on the bumper. Don't know the brand but it's freaking bright!
How the jeep kids park at school hahaha
Stole the roof rack off my friends grand cherokee and ended up convincing him to let me keep it. So I threw my spare up there and mounted my fancy shovel on the side. Also got help from my dad to wire the kcs up there. Only down side for me is the extra height but love the function and look of it.

Close to being caught up...
First, got some tint installed on my front windsheild. 35% on top of the 5%strip up top. Dark as hell as night but thank god for aftermarket lights.
A month or two ago, I was washing my car and left to go to advance for something. Came back to see my car smoke and smell like hell. Opened the hood and saw what looked like my battery was smoking... Turns out that my headlight harness some heated up and burnt all the way through and even got into some of the auxiliary lighting wires Bought a stock junkyard harness and two new headlights for 10 bucks. Threw it on with some help from my friend.
H4 harness all burnt up
Towed a heavy *** load haha
Don't have any pictures for some reason but cut and folded the rear and also later did the quarter panels. The quarter panels were gone from rust so I didn't even worry with riveting them up but they look a lot better now
Warm weather was coming so I did the e-fan override switch. Keeps the temps down. Doesn't go over 215.
Had a reoccurring problem with brakes smoking so after multiple attempts of fiddling with the brakes, I bought some new calipers. Also put extended brake lines on the front, rear was done a while ago.
Bought some new kcs cause the old ones were getting rusty and dull (waterproof seals weren't on right) so trashed them and bought some 5x7s.
Bright, clean look, and perfect pattern.
Went to go install a trans cooler (imperial max cool plate and fin style 11x11) and saw that the radiator tanks had a crack about 4 inches long. So bought a new radiator too ($90). So didn't have the jeep for a while as I slowly put both on. Runs extra cool now and got a new state of mind when it's hot.
This weekend, I tried putting on some budget boost shackles as mine had rust holes and were shot. Had some Iron rock 3/4 lift ones to put on. Started Friday night. Everything was good until I tried the driver upper bolt damn thing kept spinning so took a break. Googled what that meant and almost cried. So over the last four days, I've cut into the frame rail, mangled the **** out of the frame and eventually got the old out. Got a new bolt and put it in avoiding the separate nut compartment and just threw a thick washer on it. Tightens it down and just waiting for some guy to weld it up. Was ready to sell the jeep a couple times
Ordered a new iron rock tie Friday as well so waiting for that to come in to install. The red jeep guy gave me $50 for mine cause his is curved haha
And today, got a free led from my brother cause it wasn't bright enough for him. Good enough for the jeep though. Didn't have time to wire it but plan to this weekend. Decent output but 20x better then stock reverse lights.
Finally caught up!
