This Jeep is my daily driver and i drive it to school every day, it has a Flowmaster Exhaust System, HID lights, and a few interior things done like a switch panel for the green LED's in the headlights.

It's a stock 4.0 I6 with Chysler 4 speed auto transmission. I have a 4.5" Rough Country lift kit sitting in my room waiting to be put on this summer.

Are these hid headlights in projector housings? Also, that RC 4.5" lift is going to ride like crap and need redone in a couple years at most. I went cheap and got an RC lift and I'm slowly replacing all the parts it came with. Have you gotten a sye and cv rear driveshaft to go in when you lift it also?

We are planning on a SYE kit but i did not know about the rear driveshaft. It wont be wheeled much so im not to worried about the lift either, its only a daily for now. The lights are HID projector headlights, not sure of the brand.

An SYE requires a new driveshaft because it's a different setup. You could pull one from the front of a junkyard XJ and use that instead of buying a new one.

Wheeled or DD'd, RC is a crap lift. We aren't trying to tell you its, wrong... but be prepared for it to wear out quickly on you. Especially the bushings.

Easier said than done, but if you can sell that thing and get your money back. Do it, and put your money towards something better. RC is cheap for a reason. Zone, Rubicon Express, Iron Rock Offroad, are all WAY better options. Do it right the first time, and don't look back. Buy once, Cry once.

You may be able to sell the kit and use the money to build a junkyard lift, or buy a different one. Im going the "Upcountry" route with Crown replacement leafs and coils, but this will only do about an inch and a half.

If i was driving the jeep to school everyday im not sure id want that much lift in any case, but thats just a personal opinion.
