What size tires?????

What size tires can I fit under a 3inch lift with the fenders cut? Also what is the best way to get a even cut on both sides?

depends on how much you cut. I wheel with a guy that runs 35's with a 4" lift

Well you can get 33s to fit but you might get some rubbage at flex. And you can mask off the areas and measure both sides to make your cuts even and you can cut and fold the rears. And also this should be in the technical or chat area. Hope this info helps

Thanks, my bad. I want to get 32s under it.

Yea you can get 32s with trimming and get some good bumpstops

OHHNOES 09-03-2010 12:47 AM

Wont bump stops take out some of the travel?

Zackqb2 09-03-2010 01:10 AM

Nope it keeps your suspension from bottoming out you could look at the doing the hockey puck's not unless you want to cram your tires into your fenders

you can fit 32s no prob, I've mildly trimmed my fenders and I have more than enough room to move up to my 32s when my 31s run out of tread. As a matter of fact, you can fit 34s under a 3" lift and not much fender trimming. If I were to cut my fenders more I'd have space for 35s with room to spare.

I have 31s now and sometimes they rub the fenders. I have also taken the sway bar off front and back. Its not for the street.

extend your bumpstops and that should fix the issue....or trim the fenders!

I have a front sway bar since mine is driven on the street.

it depends on your offset and backspacing of your wheels as well (how far they stick out or how far they stay in) I would say if you got a set of 33x12.5 or a wide tire like that, they may not work with stock wheels...never tried it myself, just doesnt "sound" like it would work. If you were to get 33's or 32's i would go with a 11.5 widest just to be safe. Also, if you get wheels that are, lets say like mine, where the tires stick out a good 3-4 inches from the flares, then you will run into problems with your LCA angles (not exactly sure how to word it) and you may need adjustable lower control arms (was told thats what i need) On my 31s they rubbed through the fender flare and are barely rubbing the rockers (looks like thats what it is...just know its metal) because of the amount off offset my wheels have. So if you go with mickey thompsons.....dont go with 32s unless you wanna trim.

Ask andersonj05, hes a local around where i live and he ran 32's on his 3 inch lift with what he said was very little trimming, and it looked like the fenders and flares had been untouched when i saw it. He's on my friends list, you can go to my profile and send him a PM, Im sure he can help you out
