Yeah man, it'll definitely be strong. Can't beat it for the deal I got on it. It will be a while before I get the tire carrier parts and get it built onto it though... so stay tuned.

EDIT: Just found this https://atozfabrication.com/tire-car...ab-description probably gonna go with this when I do the tire carrier.... unless of course if anyone has any better suggestions.

Thanks man. Yup, it's very rewarding to see what hard work, patience, and doing things the right way will get you. You definitely get out what you put into it.

Are you in the club XJ group on FB? There's a guy that makes tie ins for ~$40-$60 depending on what you want. heck of a deal and they look beefy, he broke his hand last week so mine are delayed.

Well, that was fun!
As a new XJ owner, I can say I had a blast reading through all of this. Thanks for posting.

Yeah, it's a very troll-y and odd group. ~5-10% useful content but good for laughs(kinda like youtube these days...lol). Saw a guy defend a d35 the other day in a comment thread and it was very surprising no one jumped on him. It's the first group I've joined where you have to answer questions to post, that's a cool idea, only had to google one answer about the years as I'm more of an OBD-2 kinda guy.

Uhhhhh.... I think I was... can't remember. There's some XJ group I joined a while back but left because it was just chaotic.

I'm working with Neal on some mounts/tie-ins. They'll be similar to the bumper he made for his project jerk stick Jeep. I'll post 'em up when I get 'em.

lol.... yeah I hear that a lot about that page.

Been working on getting the garage squared away lately guys... progress on the Jeep is gonna slow down quite a bit for a little while. Might get something done on it here and there, but I'll post up when I do. Trying to get my garage organized real good, throw out crap that I haven't even looked at in God knows how long and make it a more efficient work environment for working on the vehicles, projects that I want to tackle, and of course - the honey-do's.

I believe i made it on my old phone and didn't save it haha. But pretty much going to work at 11pm I had the lovely idea of using a picture of a big turd in a nasty toilet and posted saying something like "just went to the bathroom at the local gas station, looks like someone left a D35 in there."
