Update on the XJ
Heres my thread from a litte while ago:https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/stock-how-sits-now-00-sport-17513/
Havn't done too much to it since then, but just thought I'd show you guys what I've done lately. My future plans I have for it are going to take a little while to complete, seeing as I'm leaving for college in 4 days, but heres what I eventually want to do.
Full 3.5 in rustys leaf packs
Possible SYE/TW driveshaft
Extension for the roof rack to make it a little longer
Install rear facing lights on the rack
1/2 spacers up front
JKS Discos
Gas tank and T-Case skids
And right now I have a RockKrusher diff cover waiting to be installed as well as a Hi-Lift that I'm currently trying to mount on the roof rack. I'm also in search of a full size spare to throw up top.
I plan on driving this thing through college till it dies
Heres some recent pictures:
When I just got my XJ, it was completely stock. This is what I told myself I eventually wanted my rig to look like:
And it's come out as this:
I'm very pleased with myself and how this rig has turned out.

Thanks man. Yeah it's a nice little spot, lots of people from our area go there, and it's in the middle of a bunch of businesses (fabrication shops, construction, car shops) and they all don't mind it at all, we've talked to a few of them before. One time we were there, this guy actually came out of the woods and said "Ya'll be careful now, I'm gonna be sightin' my .22 over there, just givin' ya'll a heads up." haha. Nothing too intense but it gave me my introduction to wheelin'. And I love these Coopers. Got a great price on them from Treaddepot.com too. They have great street manners and do very well in the mud. Clean out nicely. Which is a must for this nasty Georgia Red Clay we have around here. And they're siped which gives them nice handling in the rain. They are pretty darn quiet for M/Ts too. Not too much a hum, but enough to let you know you're rollin' on a mud tire. Awesome tire, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Here's my buddies TJ goin' up this little here. It's nothing huge, but if you can see to his left hand side, if you slide down into that big rut, you'll either come close to floppin' or at the least bang up your drivers side pretty good. I went up it the next day but we didn't record it.
