Hello, I have 2003 jeep grand cherokee 4.7 overland, and it seems my transmission isn't shifting. I checked the fluid and it was a brownish gray color and it's started to idle pretty rough at the same time going from Hights of 1200rpm to lows of 200rpm I'm not really sure why it is idling so rough.

Is the check engine light on? If the Trans issue happened at the same time as the running issue it might be in limp home mode which locks the Trans in second (sometimes third) gear.
