Well a little background first I guess. Monday I found a 90 2 door xj sport 5sp 4.0. I cant really tell you how I want it to look but I got the image in my head. It will take allot of coffee even more beer and even more money and time.

I have built in the past a 79 Chevy,83 Chevy, 98 bronco, and my latest was a 95 yj. I learn somthing new with each one (should I mention I think I have ADHD) soon as I get them the way I want them I get board and move on.

Im 38 work from home (Internet security,web design, and soon. When work is good everything is good and when its bad Im broke. Right now Im broke and by the looks of the economy I will be this way for awhile.

This can also be good becouse when my wife goes to work and the kids go to school I have all day to do what I want Well in between keeping my customers happy

Anyway I was going to take a break (just sold my XJ and mustang) but then found this for the right price and couldn't say no.. (Also should mention I am addicted to playing off road)

But as for the toxic XJ (I will explain the toxic part later) I will try to update this every day when I quit or get tired..

PS If you like to BS and drink beer come by I always have plenty of both.

Well day 1 of my build. Im working on stripping out the trashed interior that I dont need to drive it and I wont be keeping.

Kinda cold today and not yet hit 50 so I will be mostly working in side. There is bed liner on the floor already (Herculiner I think) but I will be stripping it out later May use monster liner in it when I redo it. After the roll cage.

In Between work I did manage to get some part ordered from Granger, ebay and a few other places. (photos when they come in.) Anyway here's where Im at

Well supposed to be 52deg today so looks like I will be doing some work on the outside. Also found some good deals on ebay for the OBA setup to come.

I did recruit some help for today. My 18 yr old daughter who is going to APP State and studying to be a physco pathologist with future plans to work for the FBI..

A Little background she is my oldest daughter and loves working on things as much as I do. There isn't anything I wouldn't trust her with. When she was 15 she got a 4wheeler frame off the neighbor and built her 400ex from the ground up over the next year.. When she was done she gave her banshee to her younger sister. She handled everything including finding the machine shop up in pa to do allot of her boring and polishing on the motor and head....

She will be helping me allot with this project so she will be in the photos she works cheep and dont drink my beer .. Here is a photo of her 400ex after she finished it.

I will do a update tonight after today's work is done.

After a quick run to the store we started another pile of crap we were pulling off and out of the jeep. I started cutting the front fenders and my buddy stoped by to play. I did manage to get my youngest picking up bolts and scrap as we took it off.

Well was relaxing on eBay while the wife and girls watch some life time movie. and found some tanks for my on board air project I will be starting shortly. It was 18$

Well found another part on eBay today.. My wife cut me off till next month with money. I will give her a week or 2 and will start tracking down parts..

I have to get back with a few members who also have parts. (self reminder) Well finished the fenders today. I still need to grind down and weld the back fenders.

I was waiting all days for parts then my wife reminded me it was Sunday. I did decide on a lift so I will start looking and ordering parts in a week or 2 for that..

I also got tired of running back and forth so I moved my small tool box under the carport. (My wife will love that when she sees it )

Thanks smeltmaster1 nothing like a little pressure. LOL Im in asheboro NC. Well no work on the xj today. I built a website for a company and set up there server. Well one of the owners under the direction of his partner decided he didnt need all the files on the server so they started deleting some..

Well the sites down. So i upload a backup. then the partner decides he can do it better so he starts deleting files.. Website down again. So I upload a back up... Then they decide its on a diffrint part so they start deleting files.. Now the server is down.. So now I have to fly to NY and fix it.

So i will be back at the xj tomorrow. No updates today
