Hey yall! I became a jeep owner last year with the purchase of a 1988 Jeep Cherokee for $1200 with 305k on it and many problems. I was just getting my feet wet with that one. Got her all fixed up and went on to sell her in pursuit of a better, more reliable toy to build from the ground up. About 3 weeks ago i found it. And this is her, Tiffany, named according to the color of the jeep just like those teal bags every girl wants as a present. This is a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country trim. All original paint, with everything stock besides the slightly larger tires. I bought it with a cracked exhaust manifold. Last weekend with the help of my veteran cherokee cousin and fellow CF member, replaced the exhaust manifold, put in a new motor mount and cleaned the throttle body. Runs like a champ with 202k miles on her.
Plan on getting new tires and a lift and all the goodies very soon to build her up once the tax return comes back and I sell my current car. Still debating on which lift i will be getting and was hoping for some suggestions, I am a college student on a budget, but still want a great performing jeep to keep up with everyone else. I am looking into the Iron Rock Offroad lifts.

But anyway, this will be the thread for the build once the lift and tires and other goodies come to fruition and wanted to get Tiffany out there for everyone to see, Thanks for checking me out.
