So i came to a point where i needed a new vehicle. ive moved up to sacramento and i was goin to school and i had no vehicle and was tired of bumming rides off classmates and family. As i was surfing craigslist and seeing what i could afford and what was in my budget i came across some old zj's and xj's. A 94 zj is what i got, i got it for just under 3000. So ive been deciding what i want to do with the jeep and what it will be used for in the long run. I named my Jeep Thumper. the reason i named it that is cuz that was my grandpa's callsign when he was in the Navy. I'm always open to input and advice so feel free to coment or PM me if you have anything to say or anything that you think could help me with my jeep.

so so far ive painted my jeep primer tannish green and i also got a new set of MT's so i dont have to worry about the tires i had that were all cracked and goin bald. i got lucky and got a set of 4 tires for 400 off of a guy on craigslist. i got all the primer, sand paper, masking paper and tape from UTI where i go to school at. i cut the front fenders to make more room for articulation when i lift my jeep and cuz there was some nasty rust so i decided to cut it all out.

so i ran into my first problem a little while back. i was runnin thru a mud pit and i stalled out about half way thru and when i tried to fire it back up i realized that i had fried my starter. i had to have someone tow me out and i had to wait til the next day before i could replace it. so my jeep stayed overnight at prairie city but i got it fixed the next day and all was well. heres some pics of me stuck.
