About a week ago i bough my first jeep a 2000 Cherokee XJ i dont know much about jeeps but i got this one with the intention of turn it into a SURVIVAL VEHICLE , dont know yet if i will go with the "military survival style" or a "zombie survival style" i just ordered a 4.5" rough country lift, a set of five 15x8 cragar wheels and some other parts for the start of the project ... wish me luck, i will be posting pictures of the progress :w00t:

Welcome to the site. I'm going with the same theme you are but at stock height. If you lean toward "zombie survival" check out the Zombie Response Jeep group and Zombie Tactics thread. Zombies are pretty common talk on this site lol.

I like how the springs look. I'm guessing that's spray on bedliner. Personally the green is too bright for my taste. Think it would have looked better with an od green. But it's your Jeep, as long as you like it.

Am going with a combination of that green and black cuz in the future i gonna paint the car in that tone of green too , i also have black boots for those springs so actually when installed the green will look like highlights under the car the predominant color will be the black.... after all, what is a zombie car without a zombie green color ....hehehehe

I have no idea how zombie green started to get popular. I'm doing my jeep in OD green when the weather gets better.

nice, OD green was also one of my choices, "zombie green" start getting popular since "zombie theorist" stated that zombie green is the one zombies cant distinguish because their "dead eyes".... i read about it somewhere... lol.... thats no my reason i just like the color lol

Well people i have new updates about my XJ project, what i expected to be an 8 hours job turned already in 3 days and counting i started installing the lift, and even admitting i dont have the 100% right tools every single bolt and nut that i had to remove either broken or took 2 hours to give up and get loose ... so, at this point i almost finish the lift installation only left one of the rear shocks and the front brake hoses and then bleed the brakes hopefully by this Saturday she will be at the streets again... here are some pics
