Looks good. But what is bracing it so it doesn't wobble and tear itself apart over time? I know my bumper brackets were toast and had to swap them out for newer ones when I swapped in my OEM swing out, how are yours?

bracing what part, the bumper brackets? Or the swing out itself.

If you even make an extra bracket that connects the spindle to the body you'll get a lot of support.

I did do that actually. I didn’t share it but there’s a hole in the body that lines up with the center of the spindle and we welded some threaded rod onto the spindle and through the hole and put some big washers and nuts on either side of that hole. It basically connects the spindle to the body and doesn’t allow the spindle to move.

man thanks so much I really appreciate that, I love this thing and I’ve had a blast in it, lots of fond memories. I’m restoring another vehicle though and it will replace this so I figured it’s time to let it go, glad you enjoyed the build!
