Jeep Cherokee Forum - Stock Build-up

Starting this build thread to keep track of all the things that I've done to the XJ since I started fixin' her up. She's a 2000 XJ 4.0 I6 2WD with 169K miles. No plans on lifting this one since it's 2WD and i've thought about the 4WD conversion.

This was my first car back in High School and I didn't do any maintenance or repairs back then. I gave it back to my mom when I went to SF (don't need a car there) for College. I went abroad for a year during College and my mom gave back the jeep Once I got back. Now i'm almost out of college and I do a lot more back and forth from East Bay to Uni (mainly to work on the Jeep at home ;)). It all started when I went for my first oil change at Jiffy Lube (I know :censored:). Anyways the spilled oil all over the old starter, didn't top up fluids they said they would, and put in some ****ty oil. The starter died a few days later. I bought a haynes manual and got to work. Never again would I let someone touch my jeep that I don't trust.

Fixed so far:

Radiator flush
Replaced starter
Replaced turn signal relay flasher
Passenger side power window
Upgrade from stock radio
Upgraded to Kicker front and rear speakers
Re-wired front speakers (twice)
Replaced driver side door check pin
Installed 784 injectors to fix P0203/P0303 codes
Installed APP985 Spark plugs
Replaced front struts
Fixed no horn/airbag light with new clockspring
Fixed check gauges light - periodic drop-out of oil pressure with new OPSU
Installed LED Lights for interior
Brake fluid flush/bleed
Replaced engine compartment light with cargo light bulb
Replaced old drive belt with Gatorback (did not fix slipping)
Upgraded motor oil to Rotella T6!!
