Default steering wont return to center

I have a 2001 xj. Just lifted 3" sent it in for an alignment and i am told it will not return to center. Also just replace u joints and bearings both side and a 4wheel hub on passenger side. Any ideas?

If it is the caster, then yes, the alignment will fix that. Kinda sounds like a shady shop trying to con you into spending more money...

Honestly just the opposite. Same shop has worked on my cars for over 10 years. She mentioned the problem and since it would cost me to have her research it, at least an hour, she told me to look into it and let her know if i run into problems. She did mention she hasn't road tested the truck or done the alignment since changing the front ujoints. I tried doing ujoint but hub was frozen on soooo bad, i gave it to her bfore i broke something. I have a bad habit of atempting, breaking, and THEN asking for help.

And don't take the last post as sarcastic backlash, i am still new to all this and appreciate the heads up. Always wanted to lift a truck, and despite small added costs, am lovin every minute of it

the alignment shouldnt be affected by the u-joint change, just stating that.
