Stealth Jeep
I bought this stock 2001 Cherokee 2 weeks ago with, believe it or not, only 47,000 miles on it. I hated to silver wheels so the first thing I did was paint them flat black. That gave me the idea to black out this Jeep and go stealth. I also removed the side molding on the Jeep. I used WD-40, Goo-Gone, and a plastic putty knife. The molding came off easily but the double sided tape was a b*tch.

I went out and bought a 4.5 in Rock Country lift with an add a leaf for the rear and a control arm drop kit. We had to drill out a few rusted bolts but it wasn't too bad of a project. I also got a set of 31x10.50r15 General Grabber AT2

Are you gonna bedline, lift, debadge, tint, smooth, etc?
I think it would be super cool to do something a little different. You could "tron" it with subtle blue details amd neat lighting for at night. Nothing rice like, keep it classy. Also, if ya gonna wheel it, may skip the lighting.
However, if it was me, I'd go with some red details. Subtle, but I'm partial to red. Red badging, red pinstrip on the wheels, red anodized lugs. Again, more classy than rice.

Add a leaf... The clips broke so we had to fabricate new clips to hold the leafs together.

I ordered a Surco Safari rack, 50x60. It just arrived today so I'll put it on tomorrow and add a new pic. Has anybody made mounting brackets for their high lift jack? I can't see spending around $100 bucks for brackets. Any pics and/or suggestions would be great.

They're pretty tight. The old clips were so rusty that they snapped when we unclamped them. So you're saying I should loosen the leaf clamps a bit?
