i bought this XJ last summer after i sold my first vehicle that was a GMC 1500. I paid $700 and had to put a new starter, alternator, battery, and serpintine belt.



I took it offroading a few times while at school along with camping






Even found this old Jeep pick up in a field on top of Beech Mountain


ON the way home from college on weekend my oil pressure dropped to Zero. had to pull over and somehow I lost 5 qts of oil. i refilled it and when i got home realized it was just blowing by the pistons and valves. so started my engine rebuild.




Found this Gasket set on ebay with valves for $125 and free shipping











took two weekends due to a rocker bolt snapping and having to drive back to college for classes the next day, but got it back together and all thats left is timing the engine.

well took the rubber flooring out after water kept building up around the passenger seat. turns out the heater core was leaking and i have no floor left on the front passenger side or around my leaf spring mounts seeing as the drivers side on shoved its self through the floor. and on top of that got the motor back together and it turns out the crank is bad, but found a 95 i6 with a 5spd for $500 that needs a starter.
