spoiled(not in money but jeeping) noob slow jeep build

Hey everyone I decided to start a jeep build thread to show my progress with my first xj build. The title spoiled noob is because when I learned to wheel I was shown the ropes by the people who work play and hang out with TnT customs. My first time driving a jeep was with my best friend. We went wheeling and at the top of the trail and he told me either drive down or walk.....I drove lol. Then I was hooked. My first trail run was with cheyenne trail crew driving my best friends 90 xj with TnT y link 5.5 lift locked on 35s. I learned a lot that day how to recover a jeep when it rolls, how to pick lines and all around trail manners. I've always wanted to build a xj after owning a mild dd/ww zj and stock bb'ed wj.I want to keep my xj my dd/ww and if it brakes I wanna be able to go to the auto parts store and get parts, so no special order parts hence the small lift(don't wanna have to buy custom ds's). So now I have my xj and here is my plans and current things getting done or soon to be done.

Stats 92 4dr xj
Np242
Auto
D30f
D35r
Stock wheels with 235 goodyear wranglers old style

Currently have taken out headliner, removed front bumper and installed detoursusa a pillar light brackets with hella 500 lights. In the next week or so ill be going to colorado so hudfab can install one of his front bumpers(bumper #1 with large stinger and light tabs).
Then at the end of feb or sooner ill be driving it to arizona so jon hunter of hunter off road can build and install a hybrid exo/interior cage and sliders. As soon as jcr opens back up after the holidays ill be ordering their quarter panel armor with taillight box. Ill be fabing up my own door armor just so I can learn a little bit about welding and fab work.
I'm building my xj backwards, doing bumpers, armor, saftey, first then axle goodies like lockers, better axle shafts, gears if needed and truses, with wheels tires and lift being the last thing I do. I plan on doing some light wheeling this year but nothing a stock solid axle jeep couldn't do.

I can't post pics to threads so please feel free to check my albums while I fig out how to post from my phone.

Ok so I told a little fib when I said this was my first xj. I forgot I bought an 89 xj but I only had it a few days when it crapped out on me so I sold it. I think it had a 4.5 inch rustys short arm. Shoulda kept the rust buckett lol
