Something seem weird about this? Or great deal?

Up for sale is my 90 cherokee, 4.0 L. The truck is outfitted and ready for Trail Action or Street Brawl.. This is my pride and i didn't shy away from spending money on it to make it bold and unstoppable. As you can guess, it has been over taken care of to preserve its status of a head turner. This truck is fully customized and features:
- ARB Bull Bar for front bumper ($850)
- 4.5 Rubicon express lift kit professionally installed.
- Tomken rear bumper with Tomken swingout tire carrier ($627)
- 5 33.5 BF Tires with over 70% of tread left.
- Bushwacker cutout fender flares professionally installed.( $380)
- Smittybuilt Side Steps ($ 210)
- Chrome Cragar Wheels
- KC Fog lights installed on the ARB bar
- Euro taillights
- All around tainted widows
- Hood Scouts
- Leather power seats
- Custom Steering wheel
- CIPA rear view mirror with temp, compass and map lights.
- Custom shifter
- Complete stereo package with amp and sub.
All these have been professionnally put together by Burnsville Offroad, a trusted local shop. As you can see, the asking price is even lower than what it cost to do the install minus all the parts..Thigs that need to be done may include brake pads and wheels alignment..You might wanna chande the tie rods ends too for peace of mind..Besides that it is good to go..The price had been dramatically reduced so anyone that truly love jeep can get it and continue building it or just drive as it is..I am selling because of new family reponsibilities as well as work related demands. It's time to give it up and I know i can't recoup the money put in this..It was too much and I need it gone before I change my mind. So the first person to get me the asking price will get it.

I called this guy because he's asking $2,700 for this, when I talked to him he said it has 172k miles, no rust besides on the step bars and everything works great...

To me, it seems like a must buy and I'm about to drive down and get it.

Looks like a grate deal. Some things I don't like but the price is right!

Looks like it fell of the cover of a JC Whitney catalog..

I know, its hard to believe that he only wants $2,700. Makes me wonder if something is seriously wrong with it?

OverlandZJ 03-29-2010 09:07 PM

Far from you?

Ask him if he'd send a pic of the title to eliminate a scam..

djchach 03-29-2010 09:08 PM

Yeah, he's a couple hours away. I told him to send me some more pictures and he said he would so we'll see. I didn't ask for a picture of the title though.

i doubt there's anything seriously wrong with it. it seems like a well built jeep that an honest guy had put together by professionals. like he said, the buyer may want to replace all the tie-rod ends just for piece of mind.

i think he's honest, that jeeps looks well cared for, he was probably very proud of it, but knows it's time to get rid of it.

i'd take it without hesitation, if i were in the market for one in the area.

too bad it only has all terrains. other than that, it's nice, and at a decent price too.
