Well time for some updates.
I was trying to take out the leaf bolt. It was going slow, but it was working.. It kept creaking, and I kept turning, and then SNAP.
Well after cutting out the leaf and the bushing I am left with this...
Thats a break, it wasnt cut..
Any ideas? Im going to try the double nut method, but as of now I am moving on.
What my shocks look like... wanted more room to get at the bolts.
Im procrastinating on these... one is already broken, and Im not looking forward to fixing these.
Well I decided to start on the tracbar bushng as the old one is crap , and has the seized bolt in sleeve.
Old
New one is above somewhere.
So to get the old bushing out.
First you remove the whole trackkbar..
I also took off the mount because it was easier.
To remove the old bushing, the easiest way is to burn it out.
Itll make a mess, so I suggest doing this outside. Also its stinks something awful. I suggest some safety equipment. And I suggest gloves, the old burned bushing makes a mess thats hard to get off of skin.
All you really need is something to burn with and a nail. You can use the nail to push out the burning crap, and when it gets all gunked up, you can just chuck it.
Some safety stuff.
Really cuts down on the burning smoke in the face.
Now that the old bushing is out, you also have to remove a metal sleeve. As seen here
To remove that I suggest a sawzall.
And Whala!
Touched it up with some paint.
Thats it for today. Hopefully I can get some suff done tomorrow.

Went to Brewer tofay and for a pretty decent price I got these... Well five of these.
And these came in a box at the doorstep. Was happy to find a surprise on my front porch this halloween.
Unpacked
Assembled
Ordered these shackles from the forum vendor AOR. Fast service. Fast response. Very polite. Highly recommend.
Making progress on draining my wallet, but no progress on my actual install.
Ive also ordered rough country BPE's so my shock bolts will be tackled next.

Installed a set of 31x10.5 tries on my wheels. They look interesting...
Unfortunately I cant find my camera.
Trying to figure out how to properly attach my shackes to the vehicle. The instructions tell you to orient it so the grease fitting is facing the axle. It look all wrong when I do that. Too bad they didnt have a finished photo in the instructions.

I have My 31's mounted on my new wheels. Stuck two on the front.
They stick out quite a bit as they have 3.75 backspacing.
BPE's are installed on the shocls, along with the boots.
Ive also got my tracbar back in, just need to find the replacement for the axle end.

31 tire located in the stock spare tire area. Just a test fit.
Door closes fine
Back seat fits easily, and view isnt too obstructed.
So Ill be picking up a 31 inch spare somewhere. If I cant find a used cheaply, in good time, Ill either but a General Grabber AT2 or Ill try a Goodyear Authority AT...

And while climbing under my car I noticed this.
A small oil stain
So I climed under there and took some pics because, it doesnt look right to me. But Im no expert, not even an intermediate.
The hole near the third bolt... ???
Is this supposed to be sealed?
No idea.

And the third thing...I can line up the tracbar with the hole, but when I do the [insert technical name] gets in the way of putting in the bolt as seen in picture..
I basically cant feed the bolt straight in
Is there anything I could do without removing the [part name]?

gonn have to remove the "tie rod"/"steering linkage" to insert bolt in the hole.
as for the leak..with out getting a good look around the rear of the pan..it could be a pan leak? or if your getting some in the bellhousing it could be a rear main?
^^^^ i could be way off too....hell for all i know it could be a valve cover gasket running down the motor...get some light...and follow it up.(leak)
