Default SGT. Callao's 2000 XJ Build

So I decided to start a build thread. Here is my 2000 Sport. I got it bone stock about 4 days ago. I threw on some wheels from my old ranger. I am picking up a Rough Country 3" Lift kit on Satrurday and will post pics of the install once I get down to it. Here are some pics of it as of today.

Are you sure you're ready for what you just got involved in? Good looking XJ. What are the specs on it and how much did you pay for it?

Yeah its going to be a money pit! I'm new to the Jeep world. But glad I'm a members now. It has a 4.0 I6. I'm not sure about the axles? I'm running 30" Maxxis Bighorns on 15" ultra rims. Not sure about the tranny either. From what it looks like these come with a Dana 35 rear and a Dana 30 front for the axles. I could be wrong. I paid $5500. It came with 148,000 miles.

Thanks! I can't wait to get the lift on. I work all day And tomorrow. So its just sitting. I picked up the kit used for $100. Came with shocks, coil springs, whole leaf packs, quick disconnects and coil compressors. Not a bad deal at all. I'm not sure if I am going to take off the side trim or not.

If I'm not mistaken, there are number codes on the diff covers that I can look at that determines what it is right?

Nice, clean XJ. Good choice on the wheels, they make it look that much nicer.
