It's been a long build so far and I finally caved and started a build thread..

I started with this when I was 16, it was an extra vehicle we picked up somehow. I've done a whole lot already and I'm gonna post some pictures and talk through what I've done in the past.

First "mod" if you want to call it that.. I'm not very well off on money for the build at the time.. don't judge..

The stuff posted above is about atleast two years old. The last year has been allot of money and hard work and is nothing like above. what i don't have install pictures of includes a RC long arm kit, with RE 4.5 coils, with JKS ACOS, RE sway bar disconnects, and Bilstein shocks, JKS track bar, and RE steel braided brake lines.

and the tcase(242) was rebuilt somewhere in there, and also a aftermarket linkage forgot where i got it.

And as far as the D30HP sitting underneath, we did a Artec truss on top and knuckle C gussets, chromo shafts inside, and upper johnny joints, with a G2 4.88 gear ratio, an Aussie locker, outer axle tube seals, and lower arm guards, and obviously rebuilt it cause we were already inside. no install pics but heres a couple pics.

alright now the first mod i've got a decent amount of pictures for is the rear end, which is a ford 8.8.. we did an Aussie locker, G2 4.88, artec truss, custom steel braided lines, a rebuild, C-clip eliminator kit, and a ruffstuff cover.

this is where I began on the C-clip kit, we just stripped the brake system off, and pulled the bearing..

this is where I had to cut down the tube to match the little bevel on the mounting surface according to directions.

kind of a jump but I just cleaned up the edge with more grinding and a file, then I set the new end on and used the supplied hardware to kind pull the piece onto the tube after I used some black RTV, then installed the bearing, shaft, and brake system(no pics).

And as far as the rear suspension, its a RE full leaf pack, extended shackle, Bilstein shocks, and some cool leaf top plates that are extended to contact the bump stop sooner.

And after all that mess came the 35" MTR'S on steelies, custom bumpers, and ebay bucket seats.

And now y'all are caught up to the current setup..

the up coming projects are a auto to manual conversion which we're gonna throw my aw4 and 242 out for a 231 and ax15, and after we tackle that is a choice between a 4.6 stroker and possibly turbos, or exo cage with custom front fenders and unibody reinforcement.

ordered some ironman relocation brackets, they came unfinished.

they felt pretty sturdy..

got done with the install and realized I didn't take pictures during.

the underside of the bracket and only 2 bolts on the bottom not including the main shackle bolt, jcr nut strips soon but street use only for now so thinking it should be fine.

everything bolted up but sagging the axle without wheels.

first time bolted up and sitting on her own feet, the shackle was too steep..

soo I moved it back one hole and looks a whole lot better..
no pics of the old shackle angle but it was literally straight up..
