Thanks! I'm really starting to get into this build. So, I figured out what was causing the alignment problems with the drivers side fender flare. When I shut the rear door again last night I saw the flare rub and pop the top screw out! Thankfully, I was able to re drill a little further down and get that one to secure and the door shut after I did some grinding down on the flares where they meet. I shot the old hole with primer and it's still covered by the flare. I'd like to take off the flares and have any over cuts welded and primed, but there are only a couple so it can wait till my bumpers get put on.

Today I got tired of my spare taking up so much room on the floor, so I built a raised floor for my cargo area and stuffed the spare under it. I ran out of primer, but will finish spraying it when I get some more.

It's nice to have a place to set all my hunting gear again.

So, I am thinking about switching my rear end. I've found the Chrysler 8.25 for a good deal close by, but was interested in a Dana 44. I have a Tom Woods drive shaft in it currently with the d35. Will the drive shaft work for my switch over?

Very nice looking rig. Great way to start off. But I think if you paid the shop you probably don't owe him more than a thanks. Baddass or not. Lol.

Found an 8.8 and I'm picking it up today. I'm not ready to build it up yet, but for the price I jumped on it. <br />
Since I am unfamiliar with welding and re-gearing I'm going to have a shop do what I need, but have decided to attempt everything else myself. My work has slowed down enough for me to put the time in.

Haven't made much progress this winter, but did find a buddy who's gonna help me out with welding. He's got a shop we can use to install the 8.8 also. I just have to have someone re gear it for me.

He told me he's got materials to build a bumper too. I found some good ideas on here and think I'm gonna give it a go. I figure if I do okay on the bumpers I can attempt the roof rack after.
