If Roni's is still a baby, is mine still in the womb? Just passed 93k yesterday!

Same, I plan to gather the parts and slowly start it before mine dies.

Just finished reading the thread after about a week of reading through it. Nice Jeep! I wish I had your welding skills. You're gonna love the Spartans. I have one in my D30 and it was the single best wheeling upgrade I've done.

Thanks! My Jeep is what got me into welding, and now I do it for a living, guess you could say I was bitten by the welding bug, LOL

I didn't get to do as much wheeling as I wanted...we went on a run Thursday evening, and by our second stop, rig started overheating. Stopped for a bit and let it cool, and when I went to start it back up, it was running like ****...like on 4 or 5 cylinders only, so I turned around and went back to home base. Right after I got off the trail, it smoothed out again, temps went back down, but it was getting dark, and I didn't want to push it.

Next morning I broke out the scan tool and hooked it up, even though I never got a CEL, misfires on 2 and 3. Cleared the codes. Did some noggin' pokin', and turns out my e-fan exploded. As long as I was moving air, it was fine, but slower speeds made the temp rise to 220ish...babied it the next day, did ok, and made it home no issues. Got a new fan yesterday, gonna install today.

I will say this...what wheeling I did, was AWESOME...suspension did fantastic, and being locked front and rear? Night and day difference. Walked over everything easy-peasy. Happy with the Spartans.

Briefly. He came out late Thursday night, came to where we were for a bit, and they went to stay near Hammertown...we planned to meet up the next day, but they lost cell service and ended up just going back to see Chocolate Thunder and Backdoor. That's the desert for ya, LOL....I plan on doing a trip up to the local mountains to go run John Bull soon, so gives him time to finish his rig, and we can go hit it then.

lol.... "signal propagation" in the desert. Probably annoying as hell, but still something cool about that to me.

Long enough to have a few brewski's. Cell service was horrible near hammer town.

We will definitely be getting together for some wheeling trips soon.
