ok first and foremost, lemee say, this is an awesome jeep man! im TOTALLY digging the diamond plate, the custom front end, and rear (in progress) end. im really digging the fast that you're using a lot of stock parts and just beefing them up, and/or modding them. also love the fact that you got this at the start for 1000 bucks, full of bull**** "upgrades" and mud, with just a dash of "disco"!
something you may not have given much thought to is well the truck and your son, have grown up together! oh and that reminds me, you should get that old jeep project you started just before the "your'e gonna be a father", and build it for your son, that'll make for a great story, IF you still have that jeep sitting around..
ok now for the questions, 1. what are your plans for the 4.0?
i mean, you've added at least 1000lbs of steel, that's gotta play hell on the old engine, plus itll add strain on the diffs, transfer case, and tranny. I know your'e running low gears, but i would thing some power adders might be in order.
2. that fuel tank just BEGS to be moved into your awesome roll cage!
3. it needs some KC lights! lol
4. fire extinguisher(s)?
5. since its teh felony, some graphics like "just say no", "this is your brain on drugs" maybe a police car with blue lights on on the side somewhere. or a masked guy with a tire iron on the hood. lol
o and possibly some wire screen things over ur sweet round headlights!
sorry to drag on, but i read the entire build thread, and had all these ideas pile up along the way. keep up the awe inspiring work!

If I could find an old school hinged light guards like these, I'd consider them in black....

Sooo, it's been a long while since I've had any updates.....It's been mighty busy here thanks to all our Jeep friends. David from Hellwig Motorsports just sent me the final design front sway bar to replace the 1st prototype,
the prototype worked fantastic, this new simply allows for a little more clearance near the steering box. Changed my steering over to a slightly beefed up YJ set up, looks good. I'm getting the itch to cut, so I should have some updates in the next few weeks as time permits and some graphics are infact in the works, these will reflect in some new company decals that are in the works.
Meanwhile, remember........A mind is a terrible thing to waste-

Well thanks Swfljeep, the 'Felony sits quietly on the other side of the shop as I am still quite busy in the shop and find little time or energy to mess with it currently....
But on a side note, I did recently pick up an older E250 contractor van, it's a stripped down telephone company van. Plan is to make it the new hauler and do a little customizing at the same time.....convert it to some sort of SoCal off road beach comber........Why? Because the picture below illustrates that man was much happier in the 80's........

Just look at that grin.......Thats a happy camper!
Maybe I'll document the build in the "Other Vehicals" area.......

a mind is a terrible thing to waste, clearly you havent wasted a single brain cell of yours. alot of people have the creativity you have, alot have the skill to weld and bolt/unbolt parts, not many have both and a good sense of humor. loved reading the build. like how you dont put the jeep infront of your family either. after all, mechanical things decay and rot away to nothing, families dont.
ive been starting to build alot of stuff myself, considering ive never taken any welding or mechanics class ever, strictly electrical stuff. theres nothing better then imagining something, then morphing that idea into reality through lots of trial and error and plenty of thinking. nothing else like thinking outside of the box. flanking the problem is the best way to come up with creative solutions.
love the build. cant wait to see more. this should be cherokee of the year, not just month haha.
