I've got a Rubicon friend considering an axle swap so I might hold out for his front 44 to keep it simple, consider steering from there......dunno, my money is as tight as yours for 'toys'...
.
.
While considering 4 roundy round headlights on the next family rig......I've again been distracted by Jaguar headlights......gonna watch ebay for a'bit.....I was going to use these lights in a '60 Chevy delivery wagon I was building years ago.....might be time to revisit...

I've been wanting to take the axels out of a rubi for my XJ for a while, how much modding do you think it will take?

Next to nothing up front, remove old brackets in rear & add spring perches to remain on leaf springs.

Gotta tell her to use Rescue Tape instead:

Awesome thread, just read it from beginning to end over a couple hours... I went to your website because I wanted to order your sliders, but they aren't available? Also, on the Boomerangs, why will they only work up to a '96?

Good tip on the tape!

Stiffy/Slyders are infact available, I needed some time to change the front stiffener connection with all the long arm applications now available....

Boomerangs work on 97+, but the hatch has a much greater rolled end to it so they dont fit as snug.

PM me if you'd like more info, glad you enjoyed the thread

Well, normally I'd be ticked that I spent 2+ hours reading another build thread from start to finish, but yours is great! Good info, good pics, funny, nice work. The standard that all build threads should strive to be! Makes the rest just seem lazy.

Now, I need to get to work...
