Hey now, you guys keep this up and I'll make the wife log on and have her pm you to death.......

Lets stay on topic here.......
I'm not wasting DOM on the flares, I'm using sqd. 40 ERW 1" which has a 1-1/4" OD......with such a small radious and substancal wall thickness, it's up to the job........another point of intrest is, you can not get the tight 2.5" radious I'm using with a pipe/tube bender, I'm actually sectioning preformed elbo's and welding the in......
Play nice............sholder's feeling better, took it easy the other day, I had some down time and got board so I taught my kid's gerbil (Liberace) how to play Shoots and Ladders..........I quit after 3 hours of playing, I hate getting beat!!.....

If you're board........and don't have a kid with a gerbil.....give this a listen:

So detour your saying you are just using weld fittings? Or am i confused..
You dont actually use a pipe bender. Just the simply fact of measuring and lining the pipe up right?

There are companies that are in the business of forming tube/pipe, various radious's available and common.....Wagner-Braun is one such industrial supplier....they will also custom form steel, but this is for industrial purposes and not so much for our purposes.....
So yes, I take in this case a 2.5" radioused elbo, section it to what I need, and use it as if it was formed in a tube bender. In my case, I know of no tube bender which can provide a tight, 2.5" radious........

Okay i understand now. Well im wanting to do some flat fenders with some tubing in it. Just like the bushwackers. But i can't afford those things. So ill have to make my own. Thanks for the feedback.
