Hey man, Just read through from page 1 to 32 and was fully entertained the whole time. I like your style man, you get things done and seem to have fun while doing it. I wish i was as talented as you are. The humor was great too! Best build thread I've read through so far. SUBSCRIBED!

From here, I transfered the shape of the flare to the template, at the aprox. correct height for cutting....

This template will serve itself well, I can now transfer it to the other side of the vehical for cutting, and it will also serve another purpose, yet to be discussed.......
.

'Til next time.............
i am waiting to see how these come out, i have been pondering the same thing, as i have the cut out bushwacker flares. those things are USELESS when it comes to protection! i rip the back ones off every time i go wheelin...EVERY *** DAMN TIME!

what size tubing did you go with, DOM 2"x.120?

Your XJ is what XJ's like mine spank it to at night..truely amazing man.

Are bushwacker flares meant for protection? Or for keeping your tires covered.

Bushwacker states they are flexable and durable, but i touched one rock and those things care right off, bolts still in the fender! they are not good for armor, but work well on the street. i got them when i lived in cali, so the cops would leave me alone, but since i wheel this thing, i dont like them any more. i am gonna go the route that Detour is going
