Well today was an interesting and somewhat stressful day for me... It started as this:
Then it went to this (don't mind the crooked cut, it was straightened):
Then I found this hiding behind the inner fender...the source of my stress):
After 4 hours of buying metal and supplies, welding, seam sealing and bed lining it ended like this (keep in mind I'm not here to win a beauty contest, and it'll keep the mud and water out. Also it was my first time EVER doing any bodywork on my own):
The other side is solid as solid can be supprisingly. Now I have to tackle the rears and the hole in the floor and I'm golden!

Since it's time to update this, here we go.
Since the last time I ended up removing the rear flares to get a little more clearance for the tires...and to find out exactly how messed up my 1/4s are. The passenger side is good to go, the driver's side not so much. I'm still not too sure what to do about it and it's causing a lot of stress LOL
Also picked up a cheapy roof rack for $50 from Princess Auto (basically Canada's version of Harbour Freight). Couldn't turn it down and i'm actually very impressed with how sturdy it is. Held my spair with no issues for a wheeling trip. (pics to follow)
Got around to finally doing a full brake service on it today. New rotors and pads for the front and a clean up and adjustment for the rear. Stops on a dime now. Now onto the pics of our wheeling trip last Saturday!
I have also ordered LCA's for the jeep and they should be here by the 20th. Just in time for our next trip. Can't wait!

Looks great! Can't wait to get mine lifted. But, I've decided I need to take care of more important projects first--bedlining the interior and fixing rust. Working my way down.

Got to test out the new arms today. Holy, what a difference in ride quality and flex!
Just a couple pics from yesterday's wheeling trip (NOTE: the water line in pic one, then again in pic 2)

A couple videos I put together... The videos don't to it any justice. Why does it always look harder in person?!!? You can change them to 720P cause that's what they were shot in, and the camera was on top my my XJ
