Awesome! Ive looked into going reserve or national guard for the air force. I dont know if they have reserve/guard therapists tho. My dad doesnt know a thing about car so I actually have to coach him for when he is working on my little sister's XJ since i dont live at home anymore
If Officer is the way you want to go just make sure if you do go talk to a Recruiter that you let them know Officer is what you want, assuming you have a Degree? Then make sure it is a Officer Detailer so they know what they are doing when putting you in.

I'm not aware of what is available in the Air Force/National Guard but if your interested do check it out it could be worth your while. That and you probably end up going as Officer vice Enlisted when it comes to medical stuff.

No, I don't lick fish.
Well.... NewKindOfClown and Salad both work in IT, OutlawStar is a construction inspector (although he's had a hobby of building/working on cars since he was in his teens), SatiricalHen is a college student and, before coming here had no automotive experience at all, RONINOFAKO worked for NASA when he got his XJ and switched careers to welding after he learned how to weld working on it and I myself am a 911 dispatcher.... so looks like you fit in more than you think lol.

I'm prior Air Force. Wish I was still in, but an injury downrange ended with an early separation. One of the best decisions I ever made was joining. Now, I'm a mechanic/shop foreman for a Kenworth dealership. Only thing that sucks is after turning wrenches 50 hours a week, I dont really wanna do it when I get home.

I'm current active duty Air Force as well. Kind of the opposite of you though, I was a mechanic before I joined and it kind of ruined my hobby for me. I'm a flyer now so I'm living the good life!

Communications System Technician (1A3). I work mainly on radio, satcom, and data link equipment. I do a lot of troubleshooting but not a lot of actual repair and replace type stuff. I get to fly a lot though so that's cool, and the extra flight pay helps me afford this hobby. Haha
