so i recenly picked up a new to me jeep cherokee.
specs: rustys 4.5" 32x11.50 mud claws 230xxx bedliner bottom Attachment 364920 |
runs good for the most part except when im running over 40mph and hit a pothole and it starts to death wobble. if i dont hit a pothole im fine. so what could be the cause?

anything in the stearing linkage that has slack in it

nope. had a friend turn the wheel full lock to lock and the only thing that had play was the tie rod end on the trac bar at the unibody side (driver side)

Track bar is definitely a major cause of d.w.

yea im going to get a new one here in the next couple days. hopefully that will solve the problem

well guys i replaced the trac bar and still have the DW. takin it to a shop to see if they can trace it down

so found some diamond plate step guards from my last parts cherokee. decided to paint them gloss black to match the scheme of my jeep
