Just joined , and I want to say thanks for all the info you guys share.I have owned my XJ for about a year and half it has been totally stock until about 2 weeks ago when i stumbled on these forums, since then I installed a 2" Rustys bb lift, put on some 31x10.50 MTs,And fabed a Spectre air intake by modding my stock air filter box.Added a Yakima rack, and I painted my stock wheels with black bed liner paint.I never really thought I could do a lift by myself but by reading all these post I was able to do it!Wasnt even that bad really mostly getting a few tools that I didnt all ready have(spring compressor)Oh and today I took off all my plastic and lightly sanded it and sprayed it with bed liner paint and chopped off the bottom 4"s of my front bumper and painted it along with skid plates, they look great now the were really faded. Now I just gotta go get it DIRRRRRTTTTYYYY!Thanks again

Hmmm do you think you could have pulled off 4" without any thing else but maybe shocks?I have a 2"now and want to go higher just seems like a lot of trouble to go back in just for 1"but 2" would be worth the work

looks great man and welcome to the forum!

I finished my bastard pack today! And I added this Black widow roof basket. The s10 leaf gave me about 3"s to that saggy rear end!The pic without the basket is before the bastard pack,The pick with the basket is after the bastard pack you can really see the difference!

I mounted my full size spare on my roof basket, now it rubs the top of my garage door when I pull it inside.I guess I have to stop lifting now or make it sleep outside!
