I thought the same thing!

Did you trim your fenders or anything? Those 33"s look great! I have 31's on 3" lift and i feel like 33"s would be stuffed!! I plan on going to 4 1/2" and doing 33"s when these tires wear out!

Yup! Definitely a 3"
No 3.5" or 4", just a plain old 3"

The fenders were cut up A LOT for the bushwacker flares which helped a lot.

btw the wheels I had on before were 31's as well.

Here's a side by side. My jeep has the same lift in both pics. The jeep is a little higher with the new tires, but that's just because the tires are taller. The wheels and bushwackers made a huge difference. I also think the black sides make it look higher.

Nice! The jeep looks great man. It makes me want to go to 33's now! I plan on trimming my fender soon but not sure if i am going to go with new flares or just go flareless.

The jeep looks killer. I hope my lift looks that good when I'm done with it. Nice work on the Z, I hate imports... BUT... I can appreciate good work and attention to detail. I dig it.

Thanks much! Still needs a bunch of stuff done but I'm really happy with how the wheels changed the whole look.

Installed the Olympic roof rack today (the tape was just so I could label each bar to make it easier to install)
Also put on the tomken rear bumper and the Mangaflow exhaust! Here's a pic showing the rack, I plan on taking a video of the exhaust tomorrow for anyone interested.

The headliner material I bought just wasn't sticking. I used 3m Super 77 adhesive, I completely removed all the glue, and I was very generous in covering all the areas. I also made sure to follow the instructions, glue both sides and wait until it was tacky until I put it on but for some reason it just wasn't sticking. I think because I got an actual headliner fabric it wasn't working. I decided to scrap it and just bedlined the headliner!

Also the radio / odometer / lights weren't working and I checked the fuses. Sure enough one was blown so I picked a new one up and we're good as new.

The rear bumper I got came with end caps but I don't have the proper tool to cut them down since my bushwackers are getting in the way, so I'm going to see if I can take it to a shop to cut those for me.

And here's some other pics I took:

Alright so it's been a while since I updated due to moving to LA and and not having any tools out here, but I picked up a cheap set of tools and we're back in business!

A lot of the exterior mods I wanted to do are already done, right now I'm finishing up the interior and am still going for the expedition style mods. Here's a pic of the wiring at the moment. Once that's done I've got a lot of cool stuff planned so keep a lookout.

I'm in Los Angeles too!! And I'm pretty sure I saw you drive by once and I tried to Jeep Creep you! Lol. I'm tryin to get a job just to do the basic repairs I need and then aftermarket stuff. I know a jeep mechanic in chatsworth if you ever need one. He's a jeep expert and owns an XJ himself that was modded more than anyone I've seen. As in cut it down the middle and made it 3 feet wider because he did it for fun and has a KK for rock climbing. PM me for his details if you want.

What's up with the exhaust sound clip?
