Working on the overhead console today! The overhead CB mount is all set up, I just need to re-upholster the material and I'm going to do that the same time I do the headliner. I'm really happy with how it looks, isn't very obvious and looks factory!

I went to Joanne's Fabrics to get material for the headliner. I was going to buy a generic dark fabric and went to get it cut. When I brought it to the lady working she was really nice and friendly and asked me what I'd be using it for. I told her it was for my headliner and she actually told me they had something that looked just as good and similar but was specifically for headliner and cheaper. THEN she gave me a 50% off coupon which was really awesome. So in total I spent $24 for headliner fabric and it's the padded kind too, specifically for headliners.
I'm working on getting the headliner out right now but I'm having some issues. All the videos I'm watching are for the older models and I'm wondering if there was some changes to the headliner area too since there's things on my jeep I'm not seeing in these videos...hmmm...

Here's how it looks with the front bumper, sides and rear bumper all bedlined. Happy with the results. The bushwackers were partially installed today and will be finished tomorrow. I'll post pics of that once it's done.

OOOOH BOY did those fender flares absolutely destroy my poor 31"s and make them look like baby wheels. Next up is a new set of wheels!! This weekend I plan on working on the headliner again and maybe doing small stuff to the jeep for now.

Not too many updates...
I ordered 33x12.50x15 BFG KM2's and will be getting those put on soon, so that's gonna be going on along with an alignment and new gears. While I was browsing parts online though I found a MAD good deal for a 4x4 xj same year as mine, same mileage, same color, same condition essentially and I'm really tempted to just pick that one up and put my lift on it and sell my 2wd. I thought about doing lockers if I wanted to do some 4x4 stuff since I didn't plan on doing much, but with the price of this XJ I'd be crazy not to go for it.
I'll let you guys know what happens!

Whooooooott
I completely forgot my cousin's husband is the regional manager for the local 4wheel parts store!!
Just ordered the following:
Tomken Rear Bumper
Tomken Tire swingout & jerry can carrier
Tomken Rear end caps
Magnaflow Catback Exhaust
4.10 Gears
4ft tuneable Firestik
I'm also thinking about doing Corbeau seats in the front and switching out the rears with Grand Cherokee leathers, but I'm going to wait until all these other goodies are installed before getting anything else

Did the center console, here's a pic before I put all the trim & CB in it. I'm really happy with how it came out and I'm going to use the same material on the visors!

Window visors were also done in camo, here's a completed pic of that. Really easy to do and I suggest anyone that wants to re-do their interior definitely try doing the visors because it really gives it a good look and is easy to do.
Also put sound deadner in to help reduce noise in the cabin! Wow! The stuff I got is awesome, I got Kno Knoise Collosus or something like that, I believe it's 100mil thick which is really good for the price and also easy to install.

does the kno knoise make much of a difference in the roof? I've never seen that done before.
I'm also not very audio savvy.. I assumed it was for keeping sound out but realized it could also be for better sound quality inside perhaps?

I definitely noticed a difference in the roof when it was raining, but I don't think overall there's very much road noise that is made from the roof. The car does feel cooler though inside which I think is due to the Kno Knoise. It's really high quality and feels very thick. So far I'd say it's doing an okay job of keeping the roadnoise out but I think it'd be more effective on the flooring which I plan to do when I get new seats.
I got 20 sheets of it for $139 (35 sq. ft) and I only used about ~8 sheets for the whole roof, so I imagine I should have enough left to do most of the floor if not all of it when I get to that point.
Other update is I just finished wiring my PA system and all I'm waiting on is for the CB antenna mount from JCR to show up so I can install everything and hook it all up!

I'm right next to Anaheim in Fullerton!
But I'm actually moving up to Los Angeles next week since I got a job offer to work for AAA. I've loved living in Fullerton my whole life but I just wanted a change. Don't get me wrong though, i'm not a huge fan of LA...the potholes and crappy streets were the reason I switched to the jeep anyways haha.
