I hate thieves! I woke up a few weeks ago and someone had opened my rear tire carrier. Nothing stolen, but now I'm concerned they may come back with tools next time.

Your jeep looks great! Love the super clean interior.

Well after getting a new window last week I was still able to make on a weekend little camping trip and take the jeep on a few hour highway hike. Did great and still got 20 mpg average there an back on the highway! It was great to get away. Im always forgetting to take pictures but i got a couple my buddy with the chevy has a few of camp ill put up after I get them from him. Now I just need to fine tune a couple things and get a good setup for gear before the grand canyon trip!!

The the eff did you get 20MPG's. You're still on 3.55's right? I'm lucky to get 13 right now. Looks like a fun trip though!

It's been one year since the evolution began. It's by no means done but I'm like the direction it's going so far.

Well its time for an update! Just got back from a cross country road trip. We drove from Detroit, MI to the Grand Canyon on the northern route through the rockies in Colorado. We camped there and hiked the canyon for a few days then drove to Vegas and on the way checked out lake mead. For the return trip we took the southern route through NM, TX, OK, MO, IL, and IN. Total was almost 5000 miles driving in 11 days. Jeep performed awesome except for losing the cruise control. Ive checked the vaccumm lines and the brake sensor and they both seem to be working so im not sure where to go next but here are some pictures of the trip.

Just found this build and it looks great, I couldn't believe it when I read that those are 31"s, they look more like a 33 for some reason. Have you ever measured them? I have heard that other coopers tend to run on the big side.

Little update on the build. Haven't done much, just driving it and fixing a few little things. Right before my hunting trip last year the old plastic radiator split one side so I went through the cooling system and put a new radiator, water pump, thermostat, and hoses on. Also put some new headlights on and more recently replaced the front pinion seal and rear axle seals and bearings. Next project is to redo the headliner. Its sagging pretty bad now.
Up at deer camp.

Had to park next to the stocker.
