Rear XJ dana 44

Hi guys.
I've bought an 1987 XJ Wagoneer to chop and it came with 4.10 gear ratio dana 30 and dana 44.
I'm going to replace the old dana 35 for the dana 44, obviously, better gear ratio than the 35, wich has 3.55, same as the dana 30.
The question is that the oem 30 spline wheel axles from the dana 44 are strong enough to handle an LSD, lock right (or similar) or even a Detroit locker.
This is my daily drive rig and I'm running 31's.

Cheers.

Yeah you should be fine, I've seen some folks run lockers with 35s on a Dana 35. Your 44 with 31s will be more than strong enough.

Thanks bro!
I had some idea that those axles can hold a locker but doubts are always there.
Now that I have this info, maybe buy a Detroit or simply fit an LSD or tru trac because it's my daily drive rig too.

Cheers up!
Happy Holidays.
