Raleigh
I had a '94 I6 F150 for awhile, got tired of the ttb up front and the overall size of it wasn't ideal for the trails. It was time for it to go. I just recently came across this find on craigslist and could not let the opportunity slip through my hands.. 1998 XJ Sport --> 87k, 5spd, 3" BDS Lift, 32" Goodyear Wrangler MTZ http://i41.tinypic.com/2roook6.jpg |

recused an s-10, had to pull it over two sets of train tracks Attachment 352642 Attachment 352643 figured i should start taking off all the plastic pieces, went i bought it they were all pinched from the door, half falling off. i just used goo-off and a razor blade, took most of it off. i plan on using hercu-liner or raptor on where the tape used to be to cover it and as added protection. Attachment 352644 Attachment 352645 also painted the fenders Attachment 352646 |

cb install, just took a piece of flat steel from depot, drilled two holes in it and took the visors off, slid it under and tightened, i always thought it took up too much space on the passenger side
Attachment 352638 bought the mount from firestik, its great cause there was no drilling required and it seems pretty strong. just bought a 62" (?) whip and tied it off with a zip tie on the cargo rack. figured a thinner flexible one would be better for the trails and a buddy of mine said they acutally get better reception than the typical firestik Attachment 352639 new used rims/tires from a buddy cragar ds 15" firestone destination mt 31x10.5 (i went down a size but i get a little better mileage ive noticed) Attachment 352640 Attachment 352641 |

replaced the POs amp and sub box
Attachment 352635 Attachment 352636 dont really recommend buying this, select increments xj pod. 8" subs dont cut it, so i cut it out to fit a 10" ..still a work in progress think i need more airflow and need to attach it stronger cause i think the plastic molding shakes with it and messes up the sound ?? its a great idea for space saving though Attachment 352637 |
