They are open to the elements. Not in a box to keep mud and heat off them

What size tires/rims you running? Are those q78s on a 15x10s? Or 36x12.5 15s?

but why go with drop brackets? youre' going through all this other fab work, then why not build something?

and you have any close up pictures of what you did up front with the cast in wedges?

You should get a spectre cowl snorkle, those open filters suck in hot engine bay air when crawling.

Those are the interco tsl's right?Ive read they aren't that good for rocks.I just got a set and mainly use them for mud.

What trail pressure do you run?

Do you daily this by any chance?

Sweet build by the way, cant wait to see the final product.

I wanted to run short arms for highway driving as this is a daily driver too, and I can take some closer pics of wedges, but I torched them and grinded them straight to Where I could put on ballistic fab brackets and then welded plates back over any open area of wedges. Real cheap and easy, but if I decide to make a toy only I'm gonna build some long arms and
Four link the rear as well, and I've seen the specter intakes and I'm not a fan is rather build my own but just using the one for now , and the tsl are really awesome for me on rocks never had a problem, wag better than my baja claws

Im speculating here, but might be the same reason i went that route, according to most people who've DD'd both, short arms (done right) drive better than LA's on the street. Short arms with drop brackets also flex very well, they don't perform as good on the rocks as LA's no doubt but pretty dang good non the less.

Well while taking my jeep out this weeken for a lil play time I happend to roll her :'( , good news is for all the exo haters I saved all my glass not a single crack and all doors still work, very minor dents and scratches and crackee my taillight so a finished exo would've prevented all the damage my jeep took this weekend, trying to figure out how to upload a video so I can post a link
