punisher theme xj build
My first post and build thread, and I've decided to build a 98 jeep xj with a punisher theme, full width axles 6.5" lift 36" swampers, jeeps nearly completed within 1 month of build time and is 90% complete, so I'm a little behind on my thread so I'm gonna start posting soon. for some reason i decided to do the axles and suspension before rebuilding the motor and doing the drivetrain... but it turned out fine just a little tall to pull motor and trans and heres a link to my photobucket for a little better res pics http://s101.photobucket.com/user/jeu.../Punisher%20XJ, but ill be adding more as i go, and i have quite a bit more to do with fabbing the bumpers, sliders, exo, all the fun stuff so fell free to critique and add all the knowledge you like and you're opinions.

first things first.. now what was first?
Alright clearly i suck at build threads as i forgot to take a ton of pictures and have very little but i do have a few, now for my axles i found and bought a whole 78 ford bronco with D44 front and ford 9 rear off CL for $400, and made $300 from scrapping it, so got a great deal on some axels to start building, now i found that my d44 was cast wedges instead of welded so i had a decision to make and decided that i would just buy some brackets from http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/ and torch into the wedges and weld on brackets, which worked out pretty good, ordered a new type 2 carrier for the yukon 4.56 gears i ordered, and a mini spool to try out and see how i like it
