10 slot grilles rule. I really want to put a wagoneer grill and header panel on my other cherokee. That's honestly my favorite of the Cherokee's grill. Maybe a vinyl wrap woodgrain siding too for good measure. hahaha. Just kidding about the wood grain. I always like to joke and say (I drive a lifted station wagon!)

Not big progress but got the headlight surrounds painted white. Still need to spray some clear on them but the color match is real close, so I'm happy.

I also got a brand new km1 255/75/17 sitting in the parts pile. I plan to just buy brand new spares as they come up on Craigslist. They usually pop up new for around $100 each so I'll have a set of 5 brand new for about $400. The one new I have I got with a set of 5. I sold 4 for what I paid and kept the new spare.

I still need to paint the center portion of the grill and put on the black bumper end caps. I think I'm going to paint the center bumper white as the paint has a lot of Lil chips in it and i want it to look sharp.

The new JK wheels do look good on an XJ! Thats what I did to mine. The Moabs are classic though and, I think, will look just as good.

I plan to run the moabs until I can find a set of the anniversary wheels. Either way I think will look sharp.

I was checking out your build the other day and was wishing I could find a set of those rims.

I'll be using the silver moabs not the black one in the pic btw

Silver will look good. The anniversary wheels are all over Craigslist, at least in Texas. Most people want $800-1000, but if you look often enough you will come across someone who will let them go for less just to clear space. Keep looking, you will come across a good buy.

Trimmed up the bumper end caps and set the potential rim/tire combo in place. Looks sharp.

Rear springs done. Gained about 1.5"s of lift. Hard to tell because of driveway slope.

I'll be picking up the new starter today, ordering the new radiator and 1.5" wheel adapters today as well.

Friday I'll order the 2" lift shackles also

Next step undercoat wheel wells in the back.

Any update?

I've found a few of the black rubis but they're all still right around $1000.

Just finished lift and got wheels mounted. I've undercoated the wheel wells . Still need to the shocks. Got new hatch struts installed. And got new front and rear rugged ridge floor mats.

Done a lot more but that's all I can think of of the top my head. Jeep has just been sitting at my buddy's place for months. Just got started back on the build week ago..

Yeah real close builds. I'm sitting with about an inch less lift than you. I do like the white.

I got the window vent shades on and started trimming the fenders under the flares.
