looks good, but when i saw "Project Utility Vehicle" i was thinking along the lines of a gutted 2 door with cut fenders, linked in the rear and bobbed, caged, snorkeled, low gears, and 33's....kinda like a slightly overgrown Rhino....
o wait, thats MY plan, sorry :tongue_smilie::offtopic: |
I'd go with a miller mig. That's a good one right there.

o wait, thats MY plan, sorry :tongue_smilie::offtopic: I got the utility vehicle idea from the fact that im going to be running twin batteries (a deep cycle and a regular), a high output alternator and im going to wire up a 3000 watt power inverter so I can use it as a generator if the power goes out. Im stripping out the carpets and bedlining the floors so I can hose the inside out if it gets muddy inside once I get around to it this spring, and maybe as a long-term project I want to have an interior cage but that's a long way off if I ever do it. |
Show off those headlights!!

Well... yesterday I got home from work to find this at my door.
Yup that's right, I finally got my JCR Tire Carrier. http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/100_1432.jpg Unwrapped it to find these. http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/100_1437.jpg http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/100_1435.jpg So I immediately drove back out to the hardware store and bought 4 cans of automotive primer and all of the cans of satin black they had. And now they look like this and are drying as we speak. http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/100_1442.jpg http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/100_1444.jpg Im having my buddy over on Saturday so we can put this baby on. I'll have pictures of what it looks like with it on soon. |

is that tire carrier on the front bumper ?
|
Looks like things are coming along fast.
I'd add a third arm to the sliders, I've seen them bend in the middle and do damage to the bottom panel. |

[QUOTE=Iant333;407222]Nope, its for the rear, it would be interesting to have a front tire carrier though I guess.
