And finally I removed one of the battery hold down bars so I can install the back terminals on y battery so I don't have to have any other wire on my positive except the alt wire cause today as I was working I found the screw holding the alt wire was a lil lose from the wire that leads to the fuse box

Very nice progress. I keep running out of daylight, money and time though. I need to get back at it!

Newkindofclown has some on his XJ. It looks great. If you have any questions I'm sure he could help. How much did it cost you? I want to do it next year.

Today I Installed some Christmas lights on my jeep. Wasn't too hard and costed total about $50-$60 depending how you do it.
I got to the shop early today and had all my material ready to go. Just needed the lights, an inverter, so crimp connectors, sj cord and tape.
I ran the sj cord through the firewall on the driver side
Then I just ran it under the carpet behind the shifter and installed a plug and plugged it in.
The lights I just wrapped then around the roof rack and inside the engine bay I used crimp connectors
I like it alot, it's very festive(hope no punks by my apartment mess with them) and on my drive home I saw alot of ppl checking them out. I've never seen this around me before so it's def original over here.
I've decided though to not use them on highways cause I'd rather not cause an accident

It's been a while since I've posted. Been to dark at night after work to do anything. Haven't done much to the jeep. Today I changed out my o2 sensors than filled her up. Earlier in the week I ran seafoam through the gas tank. Well see if this helps with my mpgs just a lil. I have my list of wants for my jeep. From mats to Rock sliders this year should be fun and I'll post an report it all

Just a lil update for my girl. Haven't seen much improvement in my mpg after the o2 sensors but im driving a jeep not a hybrid so I'm more happy with HP and torque than mpg.
Today I respliced some wires in the driver door to get my speaker to work again for now. To fully fix I need to run new wires and pull the door off.

To keep the story going. I hardwired the inverter straight to the battery with 6/2 sj cord. I deleted the pics off my phone so well use our imagination. I ran the wire behind the shifter through the firewall and routed it along under the cowl with the other harness. I'm using the back screws on the battery so as to not have to many thing on the positive terminal clamp.
Next week I'm looking to buy my teraflex BB and some rock sliders. After that will be rear bumper, differential cover and a windshield. Tires will stay at 235/70/16 until they wear out, by then I'll get an xj bastard pack, shocks and GC (or similar) upcountry front coil. Winning the lottery would be a plus right now.
Oh and as for all the fuel mods I've done, o2, map, etc, I'm seeing some leveling with my mpgs and still have great low end torque and performance. I'm still gonna do a cowl intake, but dont have that the top of my list right now. Well that's the story for now, I'll keep it updated

I finally installed my lift today with the help of my friends shop. I started the morning off a stocker
We started with the rear shackles. Lucky the bolts broke lose quite easily. Been soaking with PB all week. One of the bolts got seized in the leafs bushing, this took a hell of alot of effort to free but managed it. Installed the shackles and one time removed the rear sway bar.
You can feel the lack of a sway bar on some turns and large potholes. This is also cause I need larger shocks which I'm hoping to get in 2-4 weeks. Also gotta move and reAttach my muffler. Atm it rattles bad.
After the shackles we took care of the coil spacers. These weren't too bad and got done faster than the shackles.
It's fun having a lifted jeep. She rides smooth as hell and no DW thankfully. Everyone should lift their jeeps lol least I can scratch this off my list. Tomorrow I wanna take some after shots.

As i keep building her up, ill keep posting here. Wanna get some flex shots, hopefully tomorrow if i get home early enough from work

Lookin' good man. Nice to see an update. I'm glad you finally got lifted. We have the same muffler, did you have to rework the tailpipe once you added shackles?
